Aneesh Nair is a graduate, born and brought up in Kerala. He picked up a camera 15 years ago and its kept him busy ever since.
He has had the privilege and good fortune to have had some stunningly supportive and gifted mentors. He has assisted ace commercial photographer Ajay Nair for ten inspiring years and studied commercial lighting under his aegis too. Some of Aneesh’s clients include Ajmal Perfumes, Maryaj, Bulls Eye Advertising among others, and he is now dabbling in a little cinematography, which is fast accelerating to his newest passion.
A few months ago, he came across the work of Peter Hurley- the world’s most sought after headshot photographer- when he absolutely fell in love with how he made simple headshots breathtaking and insightful with the expressions he drew out of the subjects.
Inspired by his tremendous skill, he too gave it a ‘shot’. Mr. Hurley himself liked his work so much that he encouraged Aneesh to shoot more and has made him his associate photographer in Dubai. Well, here he is now, shooting international grade headshots and feeding his passion, 8 days a week.
